Planning a visit
Finding the museum in Bridgnorth is straightforward. The Museum is at the North end of the town’s High Street. If you stand with the Town Hall (the half timbered building in the middle of the street) behind you, you will see a large sandstone building which straggles the road. This is Bridgnorth’s Northgate and home of the museum.
Access to the museum is via steep stone steps, which may not be suitable for people with mobility problems or young children. Toilet facilities are not available, although the volunteers on duty will be able to direct you to nearby conveniences.
