Profile
Peaceful 16th Century farmhouse on working farm, located between Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Kidderminster. Warm homely atmosphere, spacious accommodation. Lovely walks in surrounding picturesque countryside.
Hardwicke Farm is a small working farm set in peaceful rural surroundings in the heart of the picturesque South Shropshire countryside. We are just under a mile from the centre of Stottesdon, ideally located as a base to explore the historic towns of Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Bewdley which are all within half an hours driving. The Ironbridge Gorge Museum and the cities of Hereford and Worcester are within easy travelling distance, as is the historic town of Shrewsbury.
Hardwicke Farm is also a very good base for people who like to see the countryside on foot. As well as having many footpaths through and around the farm, it is close to the Brown Clee and Clee Hill, which offer magnificent views over the Shropshire Countryside and the Wyre Forest, which offers many nature trails.
We hope to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Have breakfast at a time to suit you, chose from our varied menu, all produce is fresh, home cooked and sourced locally where possible.
I am afraid we do not offer an evening meal, but The Fighting Cocks pub, which is just under a mile away, offers a comprehensive menu.
Your non-smoking accommodation is very spacious and fully centrally heated. Downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room, for guests own use, where you can sit in comfort and watch television or read the wealth of information provided on local places of interest at your leisure.
