  • Profile

Comfortable, spacious accommodation in this historic 16th Century Grade II listed family house.

It was once the Manor Farm House and maintains many original features including a King Charles staircase that is mentioned in Pevsner’s The Buildings of England.

There is a walled garden at the rear with lawns, herbaceous border and kitchen garden. The House is situated on the edge of the town centre and is within easy walking distance of the Priory Ruins and church yard burial site of Dr William Penny Brooks, the founder of the Modern Olympic Movement.

Much Wenlock is a small unspoilt medieval market town, steeped in history and situated in the rolling hills of the South Shropshire countryside.

There are a number of shops to browse in and several pubs, restaurants and tea rooms to enjoy a drink or meal in.

“The accommodation is superb – the best of its kind, with a homely warmth and excellent attention to detail” Jade Wright – Liverpool Echo June 12th 2012
